Day 1

For today (December 1), we’re super happy to announce that the pre-pre-alpha for weblog.lol is now live! You can jump in and play around now (just hit the Weblog button on your address page). But first, some important points to note:

• This is really rough right now. (Hence the pre-pre-alpha label.)
• There isn’t much in the way of functionality yet. We’re talking super bare-bones here.
• Everything is a bit glitchy.
• As usual with early access stuff, you should expect routine deletion of data as new features are added and back-end schemas are solidified. Please don’t store anything important in your weblog!

As of now, you can author a post in Markdown and edit your template. That’s pretty much it. Told you it was bare-bones! But, you can look forward to something additional with the Weblogs feature tomorrow, and the day after, and the day after that—because that’s what the 25 days of omg.lol are all about!
